It’s like a storm that you anticipate. You see the sky turn dark. The bright, shining, happy sun has disappeared. You see the gray clouds come in. The thunder cracks and the lightning flashes before your eyes. And if the storm were severe, everyone would try to run and hide for shelter and safety. It happens to everyone. We can’t deny that. No matter where people are in life, they will always face troubles. Life is simply tough in this imperfect world, isn’t it? But I think the best part, is that you don’t ever have to deal with this alone. During times of trouble, the tension just presses down on you. Sometimes you’re on the edge and you want to lose hope and sanity. But take the time to realize, you are not alone. And you are not the only one who’s hurting. And the God who’s up in heaven once walked through the earth, lived as a human, and felt pain like a human. He knows your every thought. He feels your every pain. Call unto Jesus Christ. Because He’s by your side, He’ll carry you through the storm. He could even calm your storm. Don’t be afraid. He’s not going anywhere. He’s not letting go. It’s up to you to start calling to Him. Don’t let the troubles overwhelm you. Sure, they look big now. But keep in mind that God is in control and that He’s bigger than all of your troubles! 

Matthew 8:24-27 “Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, saying, ‘Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!’ He replied, ‘You of little faith, why are you so afraid?’ Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and asked, ‘What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!’”
